Roadtrip with the Taylors

This summer we were lucky enough to go on a road trip with the Taylors. We had such a great time and saw some really incredible views.

Our first stop was Mono Lake. We went on a little guided tour around the lake and Ben explored the local wildlife by chasing bugs and eating brineshimp out of the lake. We got there at a great time of day and the views were amazing.

From there we went into Yosemite. My favorite part about Yosemite was bike riding around the park with Bruce and Jill. We hiked up to a waterfall which was beautiful and refreshing.



Next it was on to the Bristlecone Pine Forest, which contains the oldest trees on earth. This is one of Bruce's favorite places and it was fun to share it with him. The trees were gnarled and old but it added to their unique beauty. Ben stole a pinecone hoping to grow his own bristlecone pine.


Last but not least, we stayed in Vegas for a couple of days and ate like KINGS! Bruce has a special favorite buffet in the Paris Casino that we ate at 3 TIMES! It was so amazing! Bruce and Jill took us around to see some of their favorite exhibits in the Bellagio and the fountain show was really good. And then to end the vacation on a high, Bruce and Jill got us discounted tickets to see PHANTOM OF THE OPERA! IT WAS FABULOUS!
