Was that title dramatic enough? So my laptop is having hard drive failure, like heart arithmia, this is not a good thing. For me, my macbook pro is an appendage and without it I am lost... No but really, its a big fat deal. Ben found a perfect solution for me, a solid state drive which doesnt spin and therefore cant go bad when you carry your laptop around with you without properly putting it to sleep or shutting it down. (THIS IS VERY BAD FOR HARD DRIVES). Well the pieces finally came in and we (dad) proceeded to take my best friend apart screw by screw. We got the drive in only to realize Ben left a cd in drive, so we took the HD out again, put back in the old one, got the cd out, put the new drive back in, and it didnt work...and Shera cried. Then we took out the new on and put back in the old one and here I am, with a failing HD. This is so sad. Apparently we got the wrong brand and my friend didnt like it. Here is a picture of my friend in pieces with the new HD being put in.
