I saw so much creativity from these kids and had a lot of fun sharing something that is important to me with them.
This is the older class working on printmaking using fruits and vegetables as stamps and some of their finished products.
This is the younger class with their finished collages using a silhouette for the negative space. Didn't they do a fantastic job!
In our drawing class we learned what a still life is. We discussed drawing objects that we see and from our imagination. The kids were really creative with coming up with their fantasy backgrounds to place their shaded still lifes on!
And the last day was sculpture day. We talked about objective and non-objective sculpture. The kids made recycled art robots out of found materials and then made a non-objective sculpture out of candy. What a fun week! Thanks for everyone who participated!
