Trip to Green River

A couple of weeks ago we went down to the Green River in southern Utah with the Harvey's, Patches, Rob, and Mike & Debrah (friends of the Patches). It was really fun when we finally made it there after driving to Moab by accident and having to backtrack an hour back up to Green River. The Patches air conditioning wasn't working in the camper so every minute of driving was miserable for those inside. I think it reached over 100 degrees inside the RV!
Ben and I purchased a kayak (definately an impulse buy, but one that weve wanted for years, not that that excuses). It was really fun going down the river with Ben and the rapids were intense, were talking like almost a class 2! J/K, it really was fun though and I hope we can do it every year now that were more familiar with the location and what is involved. We just gotta talk mom and dad into coming, besides it being sweltering hot at night that no one slept, they would LOVE it!
